What you need to know!
Starting nursery is an exciting milestone, and we're here to make the transition as smooth and reassuring as possible. In this section, you'll find all the essential information you need, including our, settling-in process, daily routines, meals and what your child will need to bring. If you have any questions, our friendly team is always happy to help and support you every step of the way.
What You Need to Provide
To help your child have a happy, comfortable and enjoyable day at Bumble Bees Day Nursery, we kindly ask parents and carers to provide the following items each day:
A healthy morning snack
A packed lunch
Formula milk (if required)
Nappies(if applicable)
A spare set of clothes suitable for the season
A named water bottle
A pair of named wellington boots for outdoor play
Please ensure that all belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name to help prevent items from being misplaced. If you have any questions about what your child will need, our team will be happy to advise.
What we provide
🥣 Nutritious Breakfast, A healthy start to the day for children who attend our breakfast session.
🍎 Afternoon Tea, A delicious and nutritious afternoon snack to keep little ones energised.
🥛 Milk, Fresh milk is provided throughout the day.
🧻 Wipes, We provide wipes for all children, helping make daily care simple for parents.
☀️ Sun Cream, Sun cream is provided and applied throughout the day when needed, helping to keep children protected during outdoor play.
🎨 All Learning Resources, From books and construction toys to arts, crafts, sensory resources and educational equipment, everything your child needs to learn through play is provided.
🌿 Inspiring Play & Learning Experiences. Every day is filled with engaging activities, outdoor adventures, creative play, messy play, music, stories, sensory exploration and exciting learning opportunities, all carefully planned to support your child's development, confidence and curiosity.
Babysitting
While some of our staff members may offer babysitting independently, this is entirely separate from the nursery. Before any babysitting takes place, a babysitting agreement form must be signed. Please also refer to our Babysitting Policy for further information.
