Our Early Years Curriculum
The Vision
At Bumble Bees Day Nursery, we want every child to develop into a confident, curious, capable and caring learner.
Our curriculum is designed to give children the knowledge, skills, vocabulary, experiences and attitudes they need to thrive both during their time at Bumble Bees and as they move on to the next stage of their education.
We recognise that every child is unique. We therefore provide an ambitious and inclusive curriculum that builds from each child's individual starting point, interests, experiences and needs.
Children learn through a balance of play, exploration, adult-led teaching, child-initiated learning, routines, real-life experiences and meaningful interactions with knowledgeable adults.
Our curriculum is underpinned by the 7 areas of learning and development in the EYFS, with particular emphasis on outdoor play, developing strong communication and language, secure relationships, physical development and independence.
